[Funding News] CA-based HeyGen Secures $60Million in Series A Round Funding

HeyGen, a platform that uses AI to create videos for businesses, has raised $60 million at a $500 million post-money valuation in a series A fundraising round.
With participation from Thrive Capital, BOND, Conviction, Bond Capital, and other investors, Benchmark led the round. Benchmark's Victor Lazarte has become a member of the board of directors.
With a total of $74 million raised, the company plans to use the money to grow both its business and operations.
