Kansas-based Regenerative Farming Company Greenfield Robotics Secures Investment Chipotle Mexican Grill. The $50 million Chipotle Next venture fund, which makes early-stage investments into strategically aligned businesses that support Chipotle's objective to Cultivate a Better World and help accelerate the company's development, is the vehicle via which the minority investment is being made.

Greenfield Robotics will use the investment's earnings to boost its fleet of autonomous agricultural robots and create new features for upcoming iterations of the robots, such as soil testing, cover crop planting, and microspraying.

Greenfield Robotics, created by Clint Brauer, offers chemical-free regenerative agriculture solutions. Their fleets of lightweight autonomous robots eliminate weeds between broadacre crop rows day or night, lowering the need for chemicals, promoting regenerative farming methods, and lowering farmer risk.
